Call for Papers
Papers
Papers should discuss techniques, achievements, or innovative approaches to animal care and husbandry, welfare, conservation, training, education or research. Topics may also include zoo operations: management, marketing, volunteer programs, emergency preparedness, etc. The papers will be compiled with the hope of creating an annual book of papers. Additionally, several will be chosen to present at the annual ZAA conference and/or published in the ZAA newsletter.
Posters
Posters will be on display throughout the conference and presenters must be available for discussion with other conference delegates during the designated poster presentation session.
Guidelines for Abstracts:
Abstracts should be no longer than 300 words and should be submitted in Microsoft Word 97-2003 Word or higher via email to

. Be sure to include the following information:
•Title of paper or poster (specify which type of presentation)
• Full name of presenter and authors
• Institution/Affiliation
• Position/Title
• Short bio of yourself for introduction
• A/V needs
• Contact information, including email address
Deadline for abstracts is 30 April 2013. Presenters will be notified regarding acceptance by 7 May 2013. All final and complete papers must be received by 15 June 2013 in order to be included in the program. ZAA reserves the right to publish papers in the quarterly newsletter.
